Desktop app

A tray icon that starts with your computer. Kopia comes bundled.

Run the installer and choose who it's for.
If Windows says it protected your PC, choose More info, then Run anyway. Why this happens

No install? Get the portable zip, unzip it anywhere and run KopiaLens.exe.

Open the .dmg and drag KopiaLens to Applications.
Open KopiaLens. macOS blocks it the first time, so choose Done.
In System Settings, open Privacy & Security and choose Open Anyway next to KopiaLens.

You only do this once.

AppImage: run chmod +x on it, then start it. It updates itself.
Packages: sudo apt install ./KopiaLens*.deb or sudo dnf install ./KopiaLens*.rpm.

One Docker container with kopia built in, for a home server or NAS. Open it from any browser on your network.

$ docker pull anshulj99/kopialens

Install it as a Home Assistant add-on and keep an eye on your backups next to the rest of your home.
